Class Pricing: $200 for BRRC Members & $250 for Non-BRRC Members

Long-Range Class Overview

  • review ballistic data inputs and calculations

  • truing drop with ballistic programs

  • transonic considerations and BC

  • gyroscopic (spin) drift and Coriolis considerations

  • anti-cant devices/levels and their importance

  • techniques for calling wind

  • prone shooting position

  • trigger control and follow through

  • Testing your system: live fire

  • observing shots and shooter-observer dialogue

  • long-Range qualification procedures

NOTE: You will not be qualifying during this class, but by the end of the class you will have all the tools to qualify and you will be shooting to 1,200 yards by noon on Sunday, if your “system” is up to the task.

All gear must be easily transportable as you and your gear will be loaded in a range truck for transport to the 1,200 yard range.

Long-Range Class Prerequisites

Members must be BRRC mid-range or long-range qualified and you must have attended BRRC’s mid-range class since June 2017. Non-members do not need to be mid-range qualified. Being able to shoot from the prone position is highly recommended.
